CNC TURNER
Our client is an industry leader in gear cutting and precision engineering. They supply a diverse range of clients in the Aerospace, Defence, Medical and Metrology sectors. Our client is looking to employ on a full-time permanent basis potentially two (2) experienced CNC Turners who can program, set and operate CNC lathes. These roles will be based in the Company premises in the London Borough of Hounslow.
CNC Turner – Offer
* Market rate ranging £35k to £40k, depending on experience
* Hours are Mon-Thurs 07:30 to 16:30 and Fri 07:30 to 13:30
CNC Turner – Responsibilities
* Program, set and operate CNC lathe machines to manufacture precision parts
* Implement new production methods
* Follow strict quality control and precise guidelines as per AS9100:2018 or ISO 9001:2008
CNC Turner – Requirements
* Able to interpret engineering drawings
* Must have experience in GD&T
* Able to use a wide variety of measuring equipment
* Proficient in CNC programming; Fanuc, Hass & Okuma
* Experience in off-line programming
CNC Turner – Education
* BTEC in Engineering or equivalent
* Experience as a CNC Setter, Programmer and Operator with CAD/CAM knowledge
* Experience on CNC Lathes; Citizen Sliding Head Lathes, Okuma Lathes (7000 OSP Control) and Haas Lathes
* Proven turning experience using exotic material and substantial complex processes
