Trainee AutoCAD Designer - Chawston - Wernick Hire.

Wernick Hire, the UK's largest and longest standing National provider of permanent and temporary modular buildings and site accommodation, is looking for a talented individual to join their team.

We are recruiting for a full time Trainee Designer to join our small team in Chawston, Bedfordshire. - Must have access to a car due to our rural location.

About The Role

Who we are looking for:

A full time Trainee AutoCAD Designer to join our small team in Chawston, Bedfordshire. - Must have access to a car due to our rural location.

You must be familiar with 2D AutoCAD and Revit (Revit not essential) and have a working knowledge of Microsoft office applications.
You will have a good technical ability, be a quick learner with strong attention to detail and be passionate about accuracy.
It would be desirable if you have an awareness/ basic knowledge of building regulations, but not a necessity. We will provide training so you can learn technical information relative to Modular Buildings.

Job responsibilities:

Your responsibilities will include interpreting spreadsheet schedules or hand drawn sketches to produce high quality presentation drawings for :
Modular buildings
Small cabins layouts,.
Large multi story buildings,
Elevations
Foundation pad layouts.
Site plans.
Amend, review and issue drawings, record amendments and maintain files.
Work well under pressure in our busy office.
Be a 'can do' person with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Good timekeeping and smart appearance. A full driving license and own transport is essential due to our rural location.

Driving License and own vehicle to commute to the depot
Familiar with 2d AutoCAD software
Excellent technical ability
Good timekeeping
Be able to work well under pressure
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Basic Knowledge of building regulations
