The Role: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join our team from September 2024. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality English instruction to students in Key Stages 3 and 4, helping them achieve their full potential and fostering a love for the subject.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging and challenging English lessons that cater to a diverse student body.
Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to inspire and motivate students.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
Contribute to the development and implementation of the English curriculum.
Participate in departmental meetings, training, and school events.
Maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment.
Qualifications and Experience:

A degree in English or a related field.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
ECT applications welcomed.
Proven experience teaching English at secondary school level.
Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for English.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
A commitment to continuous professional development and collaboration.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
