We have a brand new Production Manager role available with a leading manufacturer of electrification and EV charging technology based in the Milton Keynes area.

You will be joining a global team of passionate people delivering industry-leading EV charging products through a network of state-of-the-art facilities.

Reporting into the COO for the UK, this role has potential to develop into something great. The business continually outperforms their competitors and is set to double their turnover again this year, even in this challenging economic climate.

The Production Manager job based in Milton Keynes was opened because of an internal transfer, allowing the previous Production Manager to gain new skills within another sector.

The Production Managers responsibilities:

You will be overseeing and coordinating production schedules, assembly, testing, quality, logistics, purchasing etc. As well as monitoring progress against deadlines whilst liaising with other departments.
You will manage the planning of the production personnels workloads, allocating projects, maintaining KPIs and the development and implementation of operational improvements in the manufacturing team.
Health & Safety and risk assessment of the production floor, personnel administration including recruitment, performance reports, absence, discipline etc.
The Production Managers Requirements:

A degree in Electrical, Electronic or Mechanical engineering or an equivalent qualification / experience is desirable.
You will need to have a manufacturing background, understanding engineering knowledge and principals.
Proven experience in supervisory role is essential for the successful applicant.
Knowledge and application of Health & Safety procedures and legislation.
Ability to use ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
5S / Lean manufacturing knowledge.
Excellent time management and organisational skills, good interpersonal and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills
