Hourly Rate: £13-£15 per hour (depending on experience)

Job Description:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Pharmacy Dispensary Manager to join our team at our online pharmacy based in Milton Keynes. As the Dispensary Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the dispensary operations, ensuring efficient and accurate dispensing of medications while maintaining the highest standards of patient care and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day operations of the pharmacy dispensary, including prescription dispensing, stock management, and staff supervision.
Lead and motivate a team of pharmacy technicians and assistants to deliver exceptional service to our customers.
Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and standards set by regulatory bodies such as the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to optimize dispensing processes and workflow efficiency.
Conduct regular audits and quality checks to maintain accuracy and safety in medication dispensing.
Collaborate with other departments such as customer service and logistics to ensure seamless coordination of pharmacy operations.
Provide training and development opportunities for pharmacy staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Handle escalated customer inquiries or issues related to medication dispensing with professionalism and empathy.
The Pharmacy Dispensary Manager will oversee the team and ensure the delivery of exceptional service to our patients by:
* Ensuring that the service adheres to the Dispensing Services Quality Scheme (DSQS) standards.
* Completing monthly, quarterly, and annual dispensary returns, conducting searches on Systmone, and conducting necessary audits.
* Developing, reviewing, and enhancing standard operating procedures and policies.
* Managing the day-to-day employment of a team of three other dispensers, including managing holidays, absences, rotas, performance, and recruitment.
* Maintaining stocks, ensuring profitability and business sustainability, and regularly reviewing deals and offers from drug suppliers to optimize procurement and ensure value for money.
