What the role as a Behaviour Assistant entails:

Fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for the students
Assist the class teacher in implementing any personalised educational pans or interventions
Provide the students with the right tools to manage and cope with their emotions
Facilitate a safe environment to learnYour day to day as a Behaviour Assistant:

Working alongside the class teacher to help the students reach their goals
Help manage any behaviour
Model correct coping strategies
Encourage the students to try their best
Support the students on their academic journeyThe Successful Behaviour Assistant:

You will have some experience working with children
You will be passionate about education and helping children with their academic goals
You must understand the importance of safeguarding
You will be positive, enthusiastic and proactiveThis is really a great role for individuals who are looking to get some experience working with children who have a hard time with their emotions and school work.

Graduates are welcome to apply as well as those with a background in sports, music, art or drama.
