Job description
Our client in the Cowley area are currently recruiting for experienced Welders in the Cowley area of Oxford.
The client specialise in the build of exhaust systems that are then fitted on to a variety of auto motive's , before leaving the plant.
Using a variety of weld types, but mainly TIG, as well as machines, you will be essentially building the exhaust from scratch. As the various pieces that form together to make an exhaust come off the machines, you will be welding them together to create the complete unit.
Previous experience doing quality weld is essential for this role, and you will need to be able to demonstrate beforehand that you have experience in a similar kind of role. More often than not, a weld test / trial will be expected before confirmation of your placement.
Training will be provided although the client are looking for candidates who can 'hit the ground running'.
The client will request any available candidates to do a weld test on site to understand level of competency.
Working hours: Fortnightly shift rotation Monday to Thursday
* Earlies: 06:00 - 16:00
* Lates: 16:00 - 02:00
Pay: £12.97 per hour AM shift, £15.11 per hour PM shift. (Overtime after 40hr is £19.45 per hour). Occasional optional overtime on Sunday mornings paying £25.94 per ho
