Our client is recruiting for an Electrical Design Engineer/ Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join their successful marine equipment business in Portsmouth.
The Electrical Design Engineer/ Senior Electrical Design Engineer will be office-based in Portsmouth, with occasional national and international travel. The successful Electrical Design Engineer/ Senior Electrical Design Engineer must be able to prove they have the right to work in the UK.
The successful Electrical Design Engineer must have proven experience in using electrical design software and tools, such as AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or equivalent.

Role:
Lead the design and development of mechanical systems and components
Cross-functional team collaboration to develop integrated solutions, manage projects, and coordinate with external vendors and partners
Coach and development of junior engineersRequirements
5+ years in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design Engineering or related field
CAD Software expertise
Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles
Design experience
