Business Development Manager / BDM
Previous BDM experience within Aerospace/Defence OR / AND Education sector is essential for this position Location:  Portsmouth  
 
Salary: Negotiable dependant on experience

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for:
Developing new business UK wide in specified sectors through both office and field sales.
Building and maintaining your own leads and target clients 
Managing & maintaining relationships with existing customers. 
Supporting in-house key client accounts under direction of MD.
Working collaboratively with Sales Team to maximize profits & sales opportunities.
Build a relationship with clients to gain an understanding of their needs.
Networking.
Liaising with key stakeholders.
Presenting to stakeholders and decision makers.
Turn leads into active spending accounts by building and maintaining relationships.
Pro-actively grow your pipeline.
Generating new business opportunities through various channels  
    The ideal BDM / Business Development Manager will have
Drive and determination.
Previous BDM experience within Aerospace/Defence/Education sector is essential for this position
Will be able to multitask, be adaptable to change.
Will have good analytical, problem solving and planning skills.
Will be fully competent in using Microsoft Office.
Will have good communications skills.
Will want to develop within an organisation
