Prospero Teaching work closely with high achieving schools based in Southampton and one of our fantastic schools is currently seeking a creative and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join them. This is for a full time, on-going position, starting ASAP.

Working 1:1 and in groups with SEN pupils.

The successful candidate will be able to provide exceptional support to students in KS1 & KS2 and demonstrate good behaviour and classroom assistance/management.

Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate £70
Hours- 08:30 - 3:30Your responsibilities will include;

Classroom support - activities, organisation, engagement, behaviour, emotional support
Working with children on a one-to-one basis or in small groups
Support in therapy sessions
Break/Lunch time supervision
Keeping progress reportsExperience, Training and Qualifications

Teaching Assistant qualification (preferable but not essential)
Previous experience working in a UK School
Experience working with children in education or in a similar setting
Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential as training can be provided)To be Eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching, you must:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional referencesOTHER
