Are you a Graduate from a Construction, Geography or similar background looking for a Project Management role in built environment, for a company that will heavily invest in you through tailored training courses, chartership, and progression to a qualified Project Manager?
On offer is an excellent opportunity to join a close-knit and family-feel company, working on a range of projects with full training on quantity surveying.
In this role you will be mostly office based and shadowing an experienced Surveyor, draughting building contracts, and collating tender information. Once trained you will be visiting sites to resolve issues and assess progress, then take responsibility for handling your own projects from cradle to grave.
Founded in the 1970's, this Construction Project Management company work across the UK and Ireland in a range of commercial and residential settings, including education, healthcare, and marine. They pride themselves on their excellent staff retention rates due to investing in their employees, and ensure their involvement in local community projects.
This role would suit a Graduate looking to kickstart their career within construction, with extensive training and development plans allowing them to become a fully chartered Quantity Surveyor/Project Manager.
The Role:
Working closely with Surveyors to assist with projects with full training
Visiting client sites to review progress and resolve issues
Responsible for handling projects within the first year
Office based, with site visits across the UK
Monday to Thursday 8:45 - 5:15pm, Friday finish at 4:15pm, some flexibility neededThe Person:
Degree in Construction, Geography, or similar
