What you’ll be doing - Finance Assistant

As their Finance Assistant your responsibilities will include:

* Creation and monitoring of client ledgers to ensure invoices are raised and paid

* Assisting with payments of invoices to agencies

* Ensuring that clients remain within their allocated budget

* Dealing with enquiries from clients, their carers/agencies and the relevant Local Authorities

* Maintaining client files to ensure accurate record keeping

* Processing weekly payment runs in a timely manner to ensure care is not disrupted for clients

* Production of reports for BACS payments

* Working closely with Local Authorities to ensure contribution payments are met by the clients

* Assisting with any other duties that or may arise from time to time

This Finance Assistant role suits an enthusiastic individual with strong time management skills, who is able to work under pressure to complete deadlines whilst adopting a meticulous approach to ensure tasks are completed with a high degree of accuracy.

Additionally you will need:

* Previous relevant finance/accounts experience

* Proficient in a variety of computer software applications including Microsoft Office

* Strong numeracy, high level of accuracy and analytical skills

* Strong communication skills

* Able to work well within a team

* Comfortable handling confidential information

* Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks

Hours - Finance Assistant

* 22.5 hours per week (working days Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday)
