Support Worker – Surrey/Guildford
Salary - £14.20ph-£16ph Umbrella Rate
Shifts: Days/Nights
This is a Part Time/Temporary position, located in Guildford. We are looking for individuals who want to make a difference in the lives of young people; to promote them to develop socially, emotionally, and behaviorally in a setting where they feel safe and cared for. To act as a positive role model and work closely with the young people to enable them to address their difficulties and achieve their maximum potential.
* To perform basic personal care tasks as outlined in the service user´s support plan.
* To alert the Service Manager of any changes in the service user´s condition or circumstances
* To create and maintain good communication with Service Users, including those who may have some degree of communication difficulties.
* To make and maintain effective working relationships with Service Users.
* To develop good communication links with the usual carer or family member in the service user´s home
* Report writing & Record keeping.
* Administration of medication, including checking and auditing.
* Key working responsibilities.
* Confidentiality.
* To adhere to all of the Client policies
Day range:
* Monday to Sunday
Shift:
* 12 hour shift
* Day shift
* Night shift
Experience:
* Residential care: 6 months minimum experience
Licence/Certification:
* Driving Licence (preference)
