Forklift Driver

Miles Recruitment are looking for a skilled and reliable Forklift Driver to join our client and help maintain the efficiency of their warehouse operations.

This Forklift Driver role is crucial to ensuring that production lines are well-supplied, and that finished products are properly stored and prepared for shipment. Your responsibilities as Forklift Driver can include:

- Load and unload delivery trucks, ensuring materials are handled safely and efficiently.
- Move raw materials to production areas and transport finished products to storage or shipping areas.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and maintenance to ensure forklifts are in safe working condition.
- Maintain accurate records of material movements using inventory management systems.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
- Collaborate with production and warehouse staff to ensure seamless operations.
- Report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or inventory discrepancies to supervisors.

This role is offered on a Temp to Perm basis and has three shift patterns, consisting of 6am-2pm (early), 2pm-10pm (evening) and 10pm-6am (night). With this, each shift pattern has slightly different pay.

To excel in this Forklift Driver position, you will need:

- Counter Balance license needed
- Valid forklift operator certification
- Experience with side loader (Desired)
- Flexibility to work various shifts
- Good physical condition
