Position: Senior Brand Communications Lead
Salary: Circa £42,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: Full time, Monday - Friday (35 hours per week)
This is an office-based position with flexibility to work remotely approx. two days per week.

Role Overview:

Responsible for achieving brand awareness, understanding, and reaching targets, positioning the business in the market to meet the defined strategy. Working with the Marketing Communications team and the Strategic Relationships and PR team, this role enhances brand recognition, respect, and advocacy through compelling campaigns and communications.

Duties Include:

Marketing Communication
Implement the marketing communications strategy and plan on time and within budget to increase acquisition and retention of profitable customers.
Monitor and improve all communication channels in line with strategy, ensuring content is current and relevant.
Lead social media activities to enhance impressions and engagement; maximise the effectiveness of our website, emails, advertising, and events.
Support the delivery of the PR strategy and plan.
Collaborate with agency partners to deliver quality content and campaigns.
Use customer and market insights to identify communication opportunities
Business Planning & Delivery
Support the development of the annual marketing plan and own agreed deliverables.
Develop communications and campaigns for strategic projects, regulatory changes, and proposition developments.
Coordinate and deliver events aligned with the marketing plan, ensuring quality and budget adherence.
Measure the impact of communications and identify areas for improvement.
Ensure all communications meet regulatory and business approval requirements.
Teamwork
Drive your own professional development to excel individually and within the team.
Understand customers, competitors, and market to deliver relevant and timely communications.
Manage key stakeholders, particularly sales colleagues, to support lead generation and marketing plans.
Requirements:
Proven marketing communications experience, preferably in financial services.
Marketing qualifications preferred but not essential
Strong understanding of the Long-Term Savings market and regulatory context would be advantageous
Knowledge of marketing systems such as CRM, Automation, and CMS.
Effective prioritisation, time management, and stakeholder management skills.
Resilience under pressure.
High standards of accuracy and attention to detail.
Continuous improvement mindset.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and awareness of Adobe programmes.
