In the role of Marine Operations Assistant, you will immerse yourself in the heart of marine operations. Your days will be filled with the thrill of the open water and the satisfaction of maintaining top-notch workboats. You will assist skippers with essential maintenance and operational tasks, ensuring the fleet is in prime condition. Your vigilance as a lookout and adeptness as a deckhand will be crucial to the team's success. Moreover, you will manage the mooring of vessels, playing a pivotal role in the day-to-day functionality of the waterfront site.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Marine Operations Assistant will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. Performing lookout and deckhand duties on company-operated workboats.
2. Assisting the skippers with regular boat maintenance duties.
3. Supporting the team in day-to-day marine operations tasks.
4. Managing the mooring of company-operated workboats.

CANDIDATE PROFILE:
The ideal Marine Operations Assistant should possess:
1. Previous marine deckhand and vessel mooring experience.
2. A good standard of literacy and numeracy.
3. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
4. Excellent communication skills.

Desirable qualifications and experience include previous work on workboats, STCW certifications, ENG1 or ML5 Certificate, RYA qualifications, and technical skills.
