My client is one of the UK’s largest business supplies and services company to both the public and private sectors.

We are currently working with them to recruit multiple telesales executives to prospect for new business while managing relationships with key customers.

You will be selling an extensive range of products and services from office interiors and furniture through to print services and office supplies as well as workwear and managed services.

This is an office based (Cardiff) Full-Time position 

You will play a vital role in driving the growth of the organisation, leveraging the extensive range of products and services.

Your primary responsibility will be identifying, nurturing, and managing new business opportunities, alongside managing and growing existing accounts

Role Responsibilities:

New Business Development: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities on the phone, networking within your customer base

Account Management: Develop and nurture relationships with existing clients.

Establish strong internal relationships with key stakeholders, including customer services, marketing, and product specialist teams, to provide comprehensive support to customers and share valuable feedback.

Over time, developing a thorough product knowledge: Your role requires you to become a product expert in our line of products and services

Utilising your strong negotiation skills, you will work on pricing agreements, clearly communicating company’s terms of sale and closing sales.

Maintaining the company’s CRM system, keeping accurate record of all interactions with customers and prospective clients

Essential

Professional and confident communication skills
Minimum 1 years’ experience in sales or a customer service role
Motivated and organised with a drive to achieve and exceed daily/weekly/monthly targets
Excellent negotiation skills
Ability to learn about products and services and discuss them with customers
Excellent time management skills and ability to work to set standards and tight deadlines
Competency in using standard Microsoft packages
Ability to work calmly within a busy sales environment and able to handle rejection
Ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues at all levels

Desirable

Proven track record of exceeding sales targets
Previous experience of working with customer record management systems (CRM)
