Job Role
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking bandsaw Operator join our team. As a bandsaw op, you will be responsible for various duties including operating the bandsaw machine, ensuring precise measurements and specifications, and interpreting basic measurements. As a bandsaw operative you will be working in a team environment. Ability to work in a fast paced environment is desired.
Previous Bandsaw experienced required (Minimum 1 years’ experience)
What you will be doing:
* Operate the bandsaw machine, ensuring precise measurements and specifications
* Interpret basic measurements
* Inspect materials for defects before and after cutting
* Cutting soft material to spec
* Perform routine equipment maintenance
* Adhere to safety guidelines
Person Specification
* Previous experience operating a bandsaw
* Understanding measurements
* Strong attention to detail
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
* Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills
