Immediate permanent opportunities for metal workers looking for a new role within in a great environment. Our Client is paying up to £25,000 per annum. Your job purpose is to work as part of a dedicated team to manufacture equipment for investment casting systems from detailed engineering drawings.
Days (Mon-Fri)
40 hours per week
Overtime available

What you will be doing:
* Preparation of metal components for machine assembly to meet production timescales
* Working to and understanding measurements on concise engineering drawings.
* Set up and operation of fabricating machines which may include; Press brake, guillotine, punch, saw and drills.
* Utilising fabrication machinery to bend, cut, punch, saw and drill metal work.
* Materials handling, loading and unloading.
* To adhere to the company policies and procedures.
What you will need to succeed:
* Having previous experience working with tools and machinery as noted above.
* Have sound knowledge of mechanical manufacturing processes.
* Welding skills advantageous but not essential.
* FLT qualification / experience desirable.
* Crane operator qualification / experience desirable
* NVQ qualification / Apprentice trained desirable.
