Operations Manager

Construction - High Rise Residential

Birmingham

£100K-£120K plus package

Are you an experienced Main Contracting professional looking to do something slightly different and build something for yourself?

Do you currently sit in middle management of a main contractor, overseeing multiple projects? To get to this position in construction, you'll be driven, astute and experienced. You probably work for a much larger business where you have little influence in the overall direction of the business which is often frustrating.

If you want to change that, have full control over a division of a smaller company and grow something for yourself, this role will be for you.

It's working for a boutique developer in Birmingham City Centre who build high-rise residential projects up to £70m in value. All of the work is in Birmingham so you'll be home at night, every night. We need you to bring your contracting skill set to an already established and successful developer, helping establish the correct processes and support for the delivery teams on 2x RC Framed Residential projects totalling £100m in value.

We want to invest in you and back you in the business to build something of your own inline with the company's ambitions to be one of the best self-delivery residential developers in Birmingham. We have the skeleton site teams for the 2 projects starting in September but as Operations Manager you can bring in your own staff, recommend new QA systems and generally take the reins on steering this business for growth.

Being a completely new role in this business, the package is open to negotiation but our gut is somewhere between £100K-£120K. If you want to apply for this Operations Manager role, please send your CV through or call the Birmingham Randstad office now.
