WHAT IS YOUR ROLE?
As a Senior Recruitment Compliance Administrator, you will play a key role in the business, ensuring that candidates are compliant to work in schools, following a stringent APSCo safeguarding and compliance process. Your main responsibilities will be to coordinate a high volume of candidates, conducting security vetting and safeguarding checks, keeping your candidates and recruitment consultants updated throughout the process.
 
As the Senior Recruitment Compliance Administrator, you will also be responsible for conducting 2nd checks of your colleagues work and supporting with escalated compliance queries and offering advise and guidance to all areas of the business and new team members.

This role offers hybrid working split between the office and remote, so flexibility is on offer for you.

WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?

Achieve set KPI’s and targets on a weekly basis with the support of your colleagues
Liaising with candidates throughout the registration process, providing excellent customer service and support
Chasing missing documentation and information, required for compliance and safeguarding
Data entry/Logging actions and all work-related activity on the CRM system
Conducting safeguarding checks including DBS applications, prohibited list checks and qualification checks
Providing weekly updates in line with expiry reports i.e. DBS expiry checks, reference expiry, etc.
Referring candidates to payroll
Applying for and obtaining suitable references for candidates i.e. employment reference
Conducting final compliance checks and audits on files
Liaising with consultants to ensure candidates are cleared in a timely fashion
Providing effective mentorship to Recruitment and Compliance Administrators within the team
Providing 1:1 peer support to existing team member(s)
ARE YOU IDEAL FOR THIS ROLE?

Minimum of 12 months experience working in a recruitment compliance position
Experience working within a highly regulated environment i.e. education, healthcare recruitment
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
IT literate with the ability to use Office including Outlook, Word and Excel and pick up new systems
Highly organised with a sense of urgency and ability to prioritise and multi-task and meet deadlines
High quality attention to detail and accuracy
Professional, sociable and friendly
Punctual and reliable
Stable work history, be able to explain reasons for leaving previous positions
