CAD Engineer Permanent Full-Time
Salary - Circa £32,500 DOE
Location - In office, Coventry
We're excited to be working with a specialist in the design and manufacture of beautiful bespoke architectural metalwork across commercial and residential sectors. With over three decades of experience in this field, they have become a major reputable supplier across the UK
Due to ongoing growth, they are now looking for a motivated & passionate CAD Engineer to join their team of professionals.
Responsibilities, but are not limited to
Using SolidWorks to produce high quality, accurate models & drawings for use in manufacture and fitting both in house and by external suppliers
Adapting designs to suit the needs of the client
Collate and prepare accurate bills of materials using Microsoft Excel
Liaise with manufacture and fitting teams to continuously improve quality of drawings
Support manufacture and fitting teams with additional information as necessary
Assist in accurately surveying sitesExperiences required
Competent SolidWorks & Weldments designer
Background within a fabrication or manufacturing environment
Able to create detailed technical drawings packs for manufacture (DFM)
Competent in top-down modelling techniques
Design for architectural metalwork is advantageous
Able to conduct site surveys is advantageous
Having a current CSCS card is advantageous
UK License & Vehicle is beneficialPackage
40 Hours P/W | 8am to 4:30pm | Monday to Friday | 30 Minute Lunch | NEST Pension | 28 Days Holiday | Company Performance Bonus
