SEN Teaching Assistant

Location- Coventry, CV1

Daily Rate- £85 -£100 | Start Date- 02/09/2024 | Contract- Full Time (Term Time Only)

Contract- Long Term to Permanent

We are looking for 6 caring and passionate 1:1 Special educational needs teaching assistants to join the team in a welcoming and well-equipped primary school!

LTF Recruitment are searching for nurturing, caring and patient SEN Teaching assistants for the new academic year, working with one of our partner schools in central Coventry. The roles are offered on a long-term basis with the potential to become a permanent position at the school.

We have multiple 1:1 roles supporting children in Reception, Key stage One & Key Stage Two helping to support children with Complex ASD, Visual & Hearing impairments, Developmental & Speech & Language Delay.

The Ideal candidate will have:

Level 2/3 supporting teaching and learning in schools or relevant qualification required.
Strong experience supporting children on a 1:1 basis.
Have experience of supporting SEN (Complex ASD, Visual & Hearing impairments, Developmental & Speech & Language Delay)
A good team player be able to work with other staff and under direction of class teacher.
Knowledge of maintaining and updating and reviewing progress of EHCPS
Understand Makaton, PECS, BSL
Knowledge of the UK primary curriculum.About the School:
