Worcester, hybrid

£45 – 55k depending on experience

My client is a leading is a leading PLC company committed to innovation, growth, and delivering exceptional value to their shareholders. They operate across multiple sectors, driving forward with a clear strategy and strong operational capabilities. Their team is their strength, and they invest in their people to ensure they remain at the forefront of their industry.

The successful Group Accountant will gain enormous hands-on experience of all operational finance matters that impact a large but highly entrepreneurial business, covering a wide range of areas, principally focused on but not limited to:

* Consolidation of results from the UK and overseas operating divisions around the group

* Monthly and statutory reporting, for various stakeholders – such as the executive board and our lending banks

* Working with the finance teams made up of various FDs across the international group (in the UK; Spain; Italy; Belgium; Turkey; the Netherlands; Australia; USA)

* Supplying the Board with data for key commercial / strategic purposes, and producing ad-hoc analyses for M&A and financing

* Assisting with continuous improvement of Oracle reporting system, working with our external IT consultants

* Working with various external advisors on other financial reporting-related projects

* Working with newly acquired businesses to help on-board them with Group processes

* Maintaining head office accounts

Candidate:

* Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)

* From practice or industry

* Newly qualified or up to 2 years post qualified

* Consolidation experience beneficial but not essential

* Pragmatic and committed to helping the team achieve the Group’s objectives

* No strict criteria on education but A-levels and degree will be a focus
