National Account Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and driven National Account Manager to join our inspiring commercial team at Agrial Fresh Produce in Lichfield, Staffordshire, managing both our Florette brand and own label accounts. This position will be responsible for the delivery of set targets for both national grocery retail accounts and convenience retailers. You will have overall responsibility to develop/build customer plans for your accounts whilst delivering optimised sales volumes, value and profitability aligned with KPI’s and budgets.

Main Responsibilities

* To effectively manage relationships and commercial performance of both branded and own label ranges.

* Developing and delivering annual account plans aligned to customer strategy, business targets and brand ambitions.

* Working closely with the category insight and marketing team, to deliver a tailored promotional and activation plan.

* Coordination and effective execution of EPD & NPD launches internally and with external customers.

* Building relationships cross-functionally both internally and externally and at the most appropriate senior levels.

* Professionally and effectively deal with the business challenges and requirements of our customers.

* Deliver volume, growth and profit as laid out in the commercial budget with effective action plans to mitigate any risks.

* Working alongside the Head of Commercial to deliver new business growth opportunities.

Skills and Experience Required

* Demonstrable experience of successfully managing retail accounts within fmcg/fresh produce

* Strong communication skills, quality skills and commercially minded

* Has the ability to co-ordinate/ lead all internal functions to align to a common goal.

* Financial & volume forecasting accuracy and the ability to accurately project sales numbers

* Ability to convert Category insights into actionable tactics within the retail environment

* High level of self-motivation combined with energy and enthusiasm, thrive under pressure but enjoys delivering as a team
