We are a leading provider of mental health services in Birmingham and the West Midlands.

We are looking for Recovery Navigators and a Senior Recovery Navigator to work in partnership with people experiencing mental health difficulties who are currently residing in non-acute in-patient care. You will deliver a person-centred recovery approach, in groups or on an individual basis, that focuses on developing, maintaining and strengthening their skills and abilities. Ultimately you will support service users to attain independence in daily living skills in agreement with their individual needs and personal plans, achieving successful outcomes and promoting moving on.

We are looking for mental health professionals with experience of assessing and constructing care plans that support people to be in control of their lives. It is essential that you have an empathy for people experiencing mental health issues and are committed to service user involvement and empowerment. You will have a good understanding of equal opportunities, confidentiality, safeguarding and health & safety.

As the Senior Recovery Navigator, you will be responsible, alongside the management team of the service, for ensuring good practice is maintained and promoted. You will have a role assisting with the supervisions/personal development systems of staff, but you are also a core part of the team working the rota and providing support, taking the shift lead. As a shift coordinator you will be expected to work collaborative in a bespoke partnership setting. You will be an ambassador for Birmingham Mind providing a value-based approach to all stakeholders.

You will need to be flexible due to the shift patterns which include evenings and weekends. Shift patterns include 7.00 am to 3.00 pm and 1.00 pm to 9.00 pm. Rolling rota in place.
