Job Title: Technical Business Analyst

Location: Warwick, Hyrbid

Remuneration: £550pwd, Paid via an Umbrella Company

Contract Details: 6 months, Fixed Term Contract, with scope to extend

Responsibilities:

Collect, understand, and transmit business requirements, following the MoSCoW methodology, and translate them into functional specifications and detailed test plans.
Analyse requirements, considering the business and operations areas, and challenge the originator as required.
Evaluate change proposals to baselined requirements and provide recommendations to programme change control governance.
Analyse and document business processes, reporting progress regularly to the OT Backups Lead.
Provide documented proof of test results for business sign-off.
Communicate, translate, and simplify business processes to ensure buy-in from all stakeholders.
Collaborate with operations and engineers to ensure their understanding of processes.
Conduct business process modelling and develop applicable scenarios.
Perform basic consulting activities, such as information gathering, analysis, problem resolution, and presentation.
Facilitate or chair meetings with internal and external stakeholders, representing the position of the organisation/department/project/service.
Present data in various forms to suit the audience, using graphical and other techniques to portray the required information.
Identify and report on risks, issues, and dependencies.
Provide business analysis support to non-business analysis resources performing analytical tasks.
Assume the role of Client Lead on workstreams, typically project managed by Information Technology.Requirements:

Business analyst experience with exposure to full development lifecycle disciplines.
Relevant business analysis qualification, such as BCS ISEB Diploma in Business Analysis or similar.
Working knowledge of Agile and Waterfall Methodologies.
Knowledge of cybersecurity regulations (NIS Regulations) and frameworks, e.g., ISA/IEC 62443 or NIST Cyber Security Framework, is desirable.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to create unambiguous project artefacts.
Strong stakeholder relationship management and consultancy skills.
Experience in technical business analysis, including the application of Business Analysis techniques, methods, and tools.Our client, a leading company in the utilities industry, is seeking a skilled Technical Business Analyst to join their team on a fixed-term contract.
