Are you a skilled Manual Grinder with experience on OPG Wickman Grinding machines? Would you like to work for a business that values its workforce and offers flexible working hours?
Our client is a leading manufacturer and supplier of quality cutting tools, based in the Warwickshire area. They are currently looking for a skilled Manual Machinist with experience on Optical Profile Grinding machines.
Commutable from Royal Leamington Spa, Stratford-upon-Avon, Kenilworth, Southam and Wellesbourne.
The Role - Grinding Machinist:
Setting and preparing the machine for grinding operations
Grinding, deburring, and polishing to bespoke design specifications
Carrying out maintenance of grinding machine and cutting tools
Working to engineering drawings
Experience Required - Manual Grinder
Previous experience as a Grinder / OPG Machinist
Previous manual machining experience
Have the ability to understand engineering drawings and tight tolerances
Applying health and safety practices as per the company standards
The Package - OPG Wickman Manual Machinist:
Starting pay rate up to £17 per hour
Overtime at x1.5 above 36.5 hours
Day Shifts - 4 or 5 day week available - Flexible working hours
Private Pension scheme
