Assistant Quantity Surveyor – Bradford – Water – Salary up to £40k

Our client is a multi-disciplinary engineering and construction company working in the water and wastewater industry, delivering solutions across the civil and MEICA spectrum. They operate framework contracts with a number of the key UK water companies.

They are looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Bradford to work on water projects across the Yorkshire region on a framework.

In this role the Assistant Quantity Surveyor will be supporting two Senior Quantity Surveyors on 2 larger projects, values up to £17m, which will give you great experience in working on larger projects with the guidance of a Senior Surveyor. There will also be smaller projects to work on from £1-5m which will give you the opportunity to manage your own projects from start to finish.

Typically, projects are on waste water treatment sites and include new builds, extensions and refurbishments of existing facilities, and are run under NEC4 contracts. They incorporate civils and MEICA works. They are ideally seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor with experience in civil engineering projects and in administering NEC contracts.

Hybrid working is available for this role with your time being spent working from the office, on site visits and working from home. The salary is up to £40k depending on experience, plus company car/allowance and enhanced annual leave starting at 25 Days + bank holidays rising with service and a generous employer pension contribution.
