Hourly Rate: £40

Bradford Children's Trust is seeking a dedicated and experienced Social Worker to join our Child Protection Team. This vital role involves working with children and families to ensure their safety and well-being, providing essential support and intervention.

Key Responsibilities:

Child Protection: Conduct thorough assessments and develop protection plans to safeguard children at risk.
Case Management: Manage a diverse caseload, ensuring timely and effective intervention and support for children and families.
Assessment and Planning: Undertake detailed assessments of children and families, utilizing a range of tools and methodologies to inform care planning.
Multi-Agency Collaboration: Work closely with other professionals and agencies to coordinate and deliver comprehensive services.
Direct Work with Children and Families: Build trusting relationships and provide direct support to children and their families to promote positive outcomes.
Court Work: Prepare and present cases in court, ensuring all necessary documentation and reports are completed to a high standard.
Safeguarding: Monitor and review the safety and well-being of children, taking appropriate action when necessary.Requirements:

Qualified Social Worker: Must be a registered Social Worker with a recognized qualification.
Experience: Proven experience in child protection and safeguarding.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of child protection legislation, policies, and best practices.
Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, families, and professionals.
Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and priorities effectively.
