Management Accountant

Elevation Recruitment Group is excited to present an exceptional opportunity with a reputable and thriving business located in the Finningley, Doncaster area. We are currently seeking a dynamic Management Accountant to join their team and collaborate closely with the Financial Controller.

This role offers a diverse and engaging scope of responsibilities, including:

Producing monthly management accounts
Conducting in-depth analysis to investigate and explain variances in the Management Accounts
Performing essential balance sheet reconciliations, including accruals, prepayments, and stock
Handling the production of VAT returns
Assisting in the annual budget process and quarterly forecasting
Overseeing the Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger functions, supported by the credit controller and finance assistant
Contributing as a valued member of the team, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes:

Progress towards ACCA/CIMA or equivalent qualification, or qualified by experience
Proficiency in accounts preparation, encompassing journals, accruals, prepayments, depreciation, and income deferral
Exceptional numeracy skills and a proven track record of accurately managing financial data
Strong IT proficiency
Ability to effectively manage workload, meet deadlines, and adapt to evolving situations
Impeccable organisational skills coupled with acute attention to detail
Proactive approach, capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team environment
