We are seeking a skilled Electrician with preferred experience within the water industry/industrial background to join our team.
As an Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment. This is a sub-contract position with competitive rates of pay and continuous work for the right candidates.
The Job is chemical dosing on sewage treatment works, (NOT WORKING WITH SEWAGE)
Each job is a 6 week rolling contract, one at Anglian water (Wragby), another at severn trent (Shropshire areas)
The job is based on 45hours per week, with the daily rate equalling to around £240.00 per day with possible early finishes on a Friday (Job dependant).
Duties:
* Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment
* Read blueprints or technical diagrams to determine the location of wiring and equipment
* Inspect electrical systems and components to identify hazards or defects
* Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits using testing devices
* Troubleshoot electrical issues and make necessary repairs or replacements
* Follow safety protocols and adhere to electrical codes and regulations
* Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently
Experience:
* Proven experience as an Electrician or in a similar role
* Strong knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and equipment
* Proficient in using power tools and hand tools for electrical work
* Familiarity with electrical codes and regulations
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team
