Nursery Practitioner Role
* Term Time Only - Hours between 8am - 1:30pm (25 hours)
* Salary of £16,000
Summary of the role:
* To plan, organise and teach a class of Nursery aged pupils (2-3 years old) under the EYFS curriculum in preparation for joining the Ducks class.
* Work closely with the Head Teacher and Director. To support and work as part of a team. Work as part of an overall teaching team (whole school) to provide a safe, happy and stimulating learning environment for the pupil.
Subject/role specific requirements:
* Hold excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Demonstrate the passion, skill and energy necessary for teaching children in the primary age range.
* Have the personal awareness and insight to recognise when help, advice and support may be needed, and the willingness to seek and accept these.
* Have a record of appropriate continuing professional development / in-service training.

* Communicate effectively, honestly and professionally with parents and carers.

Essential qualifications and experience:
* Hold level 2/3 in childcare
* Demonstrate or have evidence of excellent teaching skills and be a reliable and well-organised teacher and colleague, with excellent time management skills.
* Paediatric First Aid Certificate
