A leading Modular Contractor with over 50 years of industry experience is looking to expand their commercial department due securing a large volume of projects. Our client specialises across the Education, Commercial, Industrial and Healthcare markets, providing bespoke solutions on their projects. This business has gone from strength to strength in recent years, delivering a full conception and manufacturing service through to turnkey for a large number of clients across the UK, with the bulk of their work leading to repeat business.

Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications

For this role you must possess the following;

Prior experience working for a Main / Modular Contractor as a Project Manager
A good communicator, able to deal with a range of people, tasks and obligations
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Well organised, self-starter, able to implement procedures and effectively manage all aspects of the worksThe Role

As a Project Manager you will lead and deliver a wide range of new build modular projects in the Education, Healthcare & Residential sectors.

Duties

Reporting to the Construction Director
Responsible for assessing the quality, RAMs and completing programming of projects
Lead and complete QA / QC exercises through the project lifecycle
Project programming ensuring that projects can be successfully completed by the site management team
Regular client liaising including chairing client meetings
Ensure all company paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
Make progress reports, revised cost estimates, and predictions, and analyse them
Organise and lead meetings both internally and externally, and make sure that complete records of all conversations and activities are produced.
Ensure weekly reviews of progress, financial resources, and forward planning, are conducted
Ensure effective Health & Safety on sites
Organising directly employed labour and encouraging maximum productivity.
Liaising with surveyors, architects, and clients.
Ensure that where activities on site are subject to statutory assessments and recording, that such assessments are made and kept properly recorded (i.e. COSHH, Noise, Asbestos etc.)
Ensure that trades foremen and supervisors are aware of their obligations under the policy.
Make arrangements for the safe delivery, handling and stacking of materials and plant.
Work within purchase/sub-contract and budget levels as determined by the Director.This is a Permanent position with a competitive salary (£55,000 - £65,000 + Package) on offer for the successful candidate.
