Electrical Engineer II
AECOM is hiring an electrical engineer based in Baltimore, Maryland. 
Establishes understanding and ensures correct implementation of the contractor’s processes and procedures for deploying Train Control solutions. Solid State Interlocking and CBTC experience preferred.
Ensures contractor adheres to contractual requirements.
Reviews ATC requirements, designs, test procedures and test results and provides comments relative to Contract requirements, Industry standards, and industry best practices.
Reviews analysis, corrections, and reviews defect reports supplied by the contractor.
Prepares reports, giving findings on problems. Documents test results as witnessed, providing comments on issues identified or corrections applied during testing.
Witnessing and evaluating engineering testing in the field and investigates problems in the field.
Provides leadership and motivation to other team members. Acts as a mentor to assigned staff on the team.
Keep abreast of new technology developments and helps to evaluate new products and processes to improve current software development as delivered by the contractor. •
Performs specific and limited portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer.
Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures.
Works on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tests.
Proposes approach to solve new problems encountered.
Identifies discrepancies in results.
Provides guidance to entry level engineers.
Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with moderate supervision.
