POSITION OVERVIEW:
As a Server and Systems Administrator, youll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our server infrastructure and addressing any user-related issues. Your responsibilities will include providing timely support, troubleshooting system problems, and collaborating with global teams to drive process improvements
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Provide Windows Server administrative support to application administrators and end users
* Assist in building and configuring systems to meet new architecture requirements
* Manage user account creation, access requests, and security settings
* Investigate and resolve server availability and performance issues
* Monitor and maintain request and incident queues, performing validation testing as needed
* Collaborate with global teams to identify and implement process improvements
PREFERRED SKILLS:
* Strong expertise in managing complex Active Directory architecture
* Proficiency in scripting for Active Directory management
* Experience with incident tracking and resolution via ticket queues
* Knowledge of DISA STIG settings and compliance
* Excellent communication and multitasking skills
* Self-motivated with a passion for IT and eagerness to learn new technologies
REQUIRED BACKGROUND:
* Bachelors degree in information technology or related field
* 7-10+ years of IT experience
* Experience working with large organizations
* Ability to collaborate effectively with peer and client teams
* Familiarity with Helpdesk systems; Service Now experience is a plus
