Accountant (Part-Time)

Job Description
ISN is looking for a part-time Accountant (up to 25 hours per week) to join our accounting team to be the main point of contact to our subcontractors.  We are looking for an energetic, self-starting, organized, detail-oriented candidate with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
 
The accountant handles communication with our subcontractors on a specific project.
 
The accountant compares data in the customer invoice with data in the subcontractor’s using MS access/SQL to make sure the subcontractor is only paid once ISN has been paid by the customer, “Pay-When-Paid”.
This position reports to Controller.
 
Primary Responsibilities:
Reviews subcontractors’ invoices to endure all required information are reported
Ensures invoices are accurate
Verifies pricing on subcontractors’ invoices with a pricing worksheet
Compares data in the customer invoice with data in the subcontractor’ s to make sure the subcontractor is only paid when ISN has been paid by the customer, “pay-When-Paid”.
Backup for regular AP entries, check-printing, and postings
Performs special projects and provide support to the accounting team as needed
