We are excited to invite applications for the role of Executive Sous Chef on a task force basis, with a potential transition to a permanent full-time position. As a pivotal leader in our culinary team, you will supervise the daily activities of Sous Chefs and other kitchen staff, ensuring excellence in food preparation, presentation, and quality. Your role will also involve employee training, scheduling, and stepping into the Executive Chef's shoes during their absence.
Job Summary
We are seeking a Banquet Chef for temporary task force duties with potential for permanent employment. You will oversee banquet operations, ensuring top-quality culinary services for events.
Responsibilities
Lead the culinary team for event food preparation and presentation.
Develop and execute event menus in collaboration with the Executive Chef.
Train and manage kitchen staff, fostering a culture of excellence.
Manage food and supply orders, maintain equipment, and uphold safety standards.
Work closely with service teams to ensure timely and successful event execution.
Qualifications
Experience as a Banquet Chef or in a similar role in a high-volume luxury setting.
Strong culinary and event management skills.
Proven leadership with staff training experience.
Knowledge of food safety and handling protocols.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
Culinary arts training or certifications are preferred.
