SUMMARY:
The Manager of Information Services is responsible for the operational leadership of the company's enterprise application systems. The position provides day-to-day leadership to a development team. The manager is responsible for applying experience and knowledge to provide and guide direction to the team while making decisions and helping to solve complex problems. The manager is responsible for ensuring the proper people are in attendance to support the company as needs arise.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Develop relationships across a multi-location organization and help to solve the needs of the company as well as the employees.
* Work closely with other team members and departments on various projects and initiatives.
* Hire, coach, mentor, and develop team members.
* Ensure team members are trained and have necessary tools to manage day-to-day activities.
* Keep abreast of innovative technologies and best practices in the industry.
* Develop and maintain good working relationships with other department heads to ensure smooth transitions in full life cycle of projects.
* Ability to identify and execute process improvements in all areas of the company.
* Assist in monitoring and resolving HelpDesk Tickets.
* Create monthly progress reports for management meetings.
* Confer with Information Technology group to evaluate interface between hardware and software.
EXPERIENCE:
* BS Computer Science Degree or equivalent experience.
* APICs Certification
* Minimum of 5 years' experience in a project management or equivalent.
* 5+ years' experience in an IT Business Analyst.
* 5+ years' experience in ERP (Manufacturing) software.
* 5+ years' experience in programming. Preferably Oracle SQL.
* 2+ years' experience in Microsoft Power BI.
* Ability to multi-task in a challenging, fast paced, matrix management organization. Ability to make decisions based on a broad range of issues, within and outside the control of the day-to-day working environment.
* Experience with building positive relationships and gaining trust with business partners.
* Reliability and Trustworthiness is necessary.
