Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance tasks on packaging equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with packaging machinery, including mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
Conduct preventive maintenance activities to minimize downtime and maximize equipment lifespan.
Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and implement effective solutions to minimize production disruptions.
Collaborate with production staff to identify recurring issues and implement corrective actions.
Document maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and part replacements, in accordance with company procedures.
Assist in the installation and commissioning of new packaging equipment.
Maintain inventory of spare parts and equipment components, and reorder as needed.
Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulatory standards in all maintenance activities.
Provide training and guidance to production operators on proper equipment usage and maintenance procedures.
