Receiving and Order-Entry Clerk

We are looking for a Receiving and Order-Entry Clerk to perform a variety of tasks related to receiving incoming wintersports equipment and clothing for distribution in the retail store. Receiving Clerk will ensure that all shipment paperwork corresponds with what was ordered and that there are no shortages or discrepancies. While mostly administrative in nature, some physical stock-work will be needed. This is a full-time position through March 2021, possible full-time/part-time in April 2021. May through July/August is planned furlough with rehire on or about August/September 2021.
Responsibilities
Log incoming shipments and process supplier paperwork
Prepare and maintain accurate computer receiving documents and records
From receiving documents print product labels and tags for checking product into stock
Email suppliers with details of shipment discrepancies and suggested resolution
Support manager in facilitating tagging and placing into inventory of products by staff
Reconcile supplier shipping documents with what was originally ordered by buyers
Create computer documents for transfers from one store to another
Enter buyer's orders into computer system
Provide assistance and support to company personnel
Maintain stock of receiving supplies
Function in accordance with established standards, procedures, and applicable laws
Constantly update job knowledge
Requirements
High School degree with Associate's Degree or relevant certification a plus
Well organized
Comfortable getting job done with minimal supervision
Data Entry and Word processing skills
Ability to perform filing and record keeping tasks
Aptitude with numbers helpful
Accuracy and attention to detail
