Job Description
General Summary of Duties:
Manage all functions in the General Ledger to ensure that accounting records are performed and maintained in compliance with established regulations, policies and procedures.
 Role and Responsibilities: (Includes but is not limited to the following)
Review, process, and prepare daily/monthly journal entries and account reconciliations
Assist with internal and external audits
Manage and develop General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Payroll staff
Preparation and filing of various taxes and licenses
Handle requests for information and data concerning accounting
Review and manage fixed asset data
Review financial information supplied by various departments for accuracy
Complete special projects and reports as needed
Review completed work by staff for accuracy
Assist within the department for any and all duties as needed
Perform other duties as asked by manager
Adhere to regulatory, departmental and company policies/procedures in an ethical manner
