Exciting Opportunity: Software Product Manager Role - at a Polish medical robotics company.

SciPro is thrilled to announce our collaboration with a medical robotics company (based in Poland) that creates life-changing bionic limbs which restore function and independence for upper limb amputees. The company is poised for growth after a successful funding round. Hence we are currently seeking an experienced Software Product Manager to join their dynamic team and make a meaningful contribution and impact to help them scale and deliver their planned portfolio of projects.

We're looking for a Medical Device Product Manager with a passion for innovation!

To thrive in this role, you'll ideally have:

Master's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or a related field.
Proven leadership experience (5+ years) as a software product manager, project manager, or similar tech leader. Leading a software development team, particularly web/mobile, is a plus.
Strong organisational skills. You'll manage timelines, resources, and budgets with laser focus.
Effective communication skills. You'll clearly explain project details, progress updates, and potential roadblocks to everyone on the team.
Adaptability to change. You'll adapt to changing priorities, new tech, and evolving market trends in our fast-paced healthcare startup environment.
The ability to translate business and customer needs into groundbreaking medical applications.
A deep understanding of software development and medical device processes. Bonus points for a proven track record of delivering successful products/projects.
A team player with an outgoing personality. You'll collaborate effectively with others to achieve amazing things.
Project management expertise. You're familiar with various methodologies (waterfall, Scrum, Agile, etc.) and can choose the right approach for the job.
Technological expertise. Knowledge of front-end and back-end enterprise technologies is key to building high-quality medical device applications.
Regulatory framework understanding. Familiarity with CE marking, relevant medical device and software standards (ISO 13485, EN 62304, MDR), and FDA guidelines is a game-changer.As a Medical Device Product Manager, you'll be responsible for:

Crafting the product roadmap and defining clear requirements.
Leading a talented team to deliver world-class medical device solutions, from concept to market launch.
Keeping a watchful eye on the entire software development lifecycle, ensuring efficient delivery.
Turning customer needs and feedback into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
Staying on top of regulatory requirements and ensuring solutions comply with the latest medical device standards.
Supporting compliance with the Quality Management System and collaborating with QARA for regulatory submissions.
Prioritizing software/firmware/hardware reliability throughout development, with rigorous testing procedures.
Setting and achieving ambitious goals for functionality, quality, cost, and timeliness.
Leading the day-to-day operations of your project team.
Managing risks effectively using ISO 14971 principles.
