AREA SALES MANAGER (West & East Yorkshire)

Looking for a dynamic sales role in the food industry? Our client, a leading supplier of Bakery Products and Ingredients, is seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Area Sales Manager to join their team in West & East Yorkshire.

Who is our client?

Our client, a key player in the industry, is a part of a renowned bakery goods wholesaler based in the UK. With a strong focus on exceptional customer service and competitive pricing, they cater to a diverse range of customers - from traditional organisations to new companies in the convenience market.

What will be your role?

As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing and expanding sales and profitability within your assigned geographical area. You will develop strong relationships with both existing and new customers, ensuring all sales targets and budgets are met. Alongside this, you will liaise with suppliers and internal teams to maintain product knowledge and customer information.

Key Duties:

Maintain and review product knowledge through liaison with suppliers
Establish and maintain accurate customer records and databases
Devise and review journey plans and customer categorisation
Identify and execute sales opportunities in new market sectors
Act as an ambassador for our client, promoting their services effectivelyWhat are we looking for?

A valid UK driving licence is essential for the role
Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills
Proven experience in achieving sales targets and negotiation
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent team-working and networking abilities
