Responsibilities in your new role as a Spa Therapist

In this role, you will offer guests refreshments when appropriate and discuss their treatments before beginning. Maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of the working area to the required standard at all times is essential. You will deliver a range of beauty treatments, including massages and facials, according to the standards defined by the venue. Upselling and promoting retail products when suitable is part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will accurately take bookings, discuss the treatment list with guests, and provide professional advice as needed.

Your personality, experience and qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Spa Therapist role will have an NVQ Level 3 in Beauty Therapy or equivalent qualification (BTEC or ITEC Level 3), great attention to detail, and excellent organisational and time management skills. You should be discrete, reliable and able to multi-task effectively. Self-motivation and the ability to work under your own initiative is essential.
