GSL Education are delighted to announce an exciting opportunity for a dedicated MFL Teacher to to teach Spanish and French at a reputed secondary school in Canterbury. This role offers the perfect platform to share your language skills and inspire students to become confident and proficient communicators in Spanish and French.

As a Modern Foreign Language Teacher, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality Spanish and French language instruction to students at the secondary level. From introducing basic vocabulary and grammar to facilitating engaging conversations and cultural activities, you'll help students develop their language skills and deepen their understanding of Spanish and French language and culture.

Key Responsibilities of Modern Foreign Language Teacher:

- Plan and deliver dynamic and interactive Spanish and French lessons that cater to the diverse learning needs and abilities of students.

- Create engaging and authentic learning experiences that encourage students to actively participate in language acquisition and develop their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.

- Utilise a variety of teaching resources and technology tools to enhance language learning and facilitate meaningful communication in Spanish and French.

- Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to support their language development and academic growth, identifying areas for improvement and offering targeted support as needed.

- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel confident to take risks, make mistakes, and explore different aspects of Spanish and French culture with curiosity and enthusiasm.

Modern Foreign Language Teacher Requirements:

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Modern Foreign Languages or a related field.

- Fluent proficiency in both Spanish and French, with strong communication skills in both languages.

- Proven experience teaching Spanish and French at the secondary level, with a passion for language teaching and a commitment to student success.

- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

- A creative and innovative approach to teaching, with the ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential in Spanish and French.
