Our client offers a high-quality complete building services across a diverse range of sectors. The services that they provide consist of Rail Maintenance, Educational Facilities Management, Healthcare Construction, Civic Building, Church Building and Facilities Management.

Due to company growth, our client is looking to bring a Drainage Engineer in to join their highly experienced and qualified team. The Drainage Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and repairing drainage systems. They will also inspect, clean, and diagnose issues in drainage infrastructure, provide recommendations for improvements, and respond to emergency repairs.

What's in it for you?

Salary - up to £40,000 (depending on experience).
Working hours: 07:30 - 17:00, Monday to Friday (There may be a requirement for occasional weekend working/Respond to callouts as required - One in six and £125 a week standby).
Overtime is payable at the hourly rate x1.5 17:30 - 07:30 Monday - Friday and Saturday 08:00 - 14:00 and x2 Sat 14.00 - Monday 07:30.
Company vehicle and fuel card.
20 days holiday + bank holidays.
Auto enrol pension (5% employee 3% employer).
Occasional social events throughout the year.Drainage Engineer - Position Overview

Perform PPM, Remedial, and Reactive works, completing worksheets promptly to meet client needs.
Identify and diagnose faults, providing reports on necessary rectifications.
Work within a two-person team or independently to carry out pump station cleaning, drain/gulley cleaning, jetting, drainage CCTV, and minor toilet and plumbing repairs.
Working with GTR Asset Pro live reporting system ensuring all assigned jobs are started and completed within the contract SLA.
Recommend plant condition improvements and submit Life Expired reports as needed.
Occasionally attend training and Health and Safety courses as directed by the Contracts Manager.Drainage Engineer - Position Requirements

Full UK drivers' licence.
PTS qualified desirable.
Strong attention to detail.
Strong communication skills.
