EYFS Teaching Assistant
Area - South East London
Day Rate- £95-£105
Days- Monday - Friday
Hours- 8:30am - 3:30pm
Start- ASAPRemedy Education are on the search for a caring, friendly and nurturing teaching assistant, to support children across reception & nursery classes. The schools in a 'OFSTED' Good rated primary School. The role is offered until the end of the summer term with the potential to become permanent for the successful candidate.
The Role:
Supporting the class teacher with the teaching and learning in the classroom
Supporting children with SEN (Speech & Language delay, ASD)
Ensuring all children and provided with a safe environment to learn in
Assisting with eating and helping to provide a sense of Independence
Leading phonics sessions with the children who are ready for this
Liaising with parents at the end of each day
Supporting pupils who may present with additional needs.Who we are looking for:
Hold Cache/NVQ Level 2 or 3 childcare, qualification or equivalent
Must have experience working within an Early years setting
Have a genuine passion for teaching and learning
Knowledge of EYFS Curriculum
Experience working with children with SEN
Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
