Service Engineer - Machinery - UK AND INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL
My client is a highly regarded global manufacturer of packaging machinery solutions that has seen continuous success within its specialist market, supplying FMCG sectors.
We are seeking a Service Engineer with a basic understanding or exposure to PLC's such as Allen Bradley and Siemens. Product training will be provided to engineers with suitable maintenance and/or installation experience.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated service engineer / maintenance engineer / installation engineer with experience working on automated manufacturing equipment with an interest in International travel.
This role varies between factory-based engineering responsibilities in Lincolnshire to worldwide installations, maintenance, and servicing on a range of packaging lines.
The Role:
Install, maintain, and service manufacturing machinery
Working both mechanically and electrically, with manufacturer training given
You will gain manufacturer training
Covering the UK and overseas, staying away from a few nights to a few weeks at a timeYou:
Competent using PLC programming such as Allen Bradley/Rockwell is highly beneficial
Flexible, willing and able to work overseas occasionally for several days at a time.
Packaging / automated manufacturing machinery experience e.g. conveyors, material handling, food processing or similar
Mechanical or Electrical qualificationsPackage:
Basic salary: £38,000-£40,000 base + O.T.E = up to £65,000 inc overseas travel
