About the Role
As a SCADA Engineer, you will be part of the Substations team for the offshore wind project. This role requires excellent collaboration skills and flexibility to work across a range of subjects. You will undertake a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:
Key Responsibilities
Support the SCADA & Communications Manager in delivering the SCADA, network, and communications scope to meet project objectives.
Review SCADA, network, and communication design, installation, and commissioning documents.
Liaise with the Commissioning & Installation Engineer and Supervisors during installation and commissioning.
Ensure the SCADA system, including architecture and system equipment, complies with all company and international cyber security standards.
Assist in the design of O&M, OSS SCADA, WTG SCADA, and Onshore Substation SCADA systems.
Maintain interface registers according to agreements with stakeholders.
Translate technical documents from Chinese to English.
Qualifications & Key Skills
Bachelor's or master's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Control Engineering, or equivalent.
Fluent in English and Chinese, both verbal and written.
Direct work experience in a SCADA, network, or telecommunications engineering role is preferable.
Willingness to travel frequently within Taiwan for fabrication site and supplier visits.
A team player with the ability and motivation to work in a diverse environment with people of different cultural backgrounds
